
The online applications are invited for Holland’s fully-funded TU Delft University Scholarships 2022-2023 academic session.
Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) is one of the finest universities in Holland. This university is famous for its world-class teaching and scholarship programs. The scholarships offered by them are meant to attract more and more international intellect in the TU Delft classrooms. There are many different kinds of TU Delft scholarship programs available at TU Delft University. These scholarship programs allow students to pursue a degree at TU Delft at a low to no cost at all.
TU Delft has a reputation for being one of the best technical schools in the world. This university is striving to produce students who are equipped with the tools and techniques needed to take on the technical challenges of today.
International students meaning to pursue an MSc. Program at TU Delft can apply to the following two scholarships.
#1 Justus & Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships
This scholarship program is funded by The Foundation Justus & Louise van Effen and is for international students interested in pursuing MSc. at TU Delft. Foreign students who are intellectually equipped can apply for this scholarship to reduce their financial burden of studies.
Number of Scholarships:
There are two scholarships available per faculty.
Eligible Candidates:
- Students applying to this scholarship must be international applicants who have applied to pursue one of TU Delft’s full-time MSc. programs.
- Candidates must possess a CGPA of 80% or higher in their undergraduate studies. The bachelor’s degree must have been earned from a university that is recognized and is situated outside of the Netherlands.
Application Deadline:
The last date to apply for the fall 2022 session is 1st December 2021. The results were announced in late March 2022. The applications for the 2023 session will be announced afterward.
Scholarship Value:
Non-EU and Non-EFTA students will get a scholarship value of 30,000 EUR per year. EU and EFTA students will get 11,000 EUR per year. This will be awarded in the form of a tuition fee waiver and a stipend for partly or fully covering the living expenses. The scholarship also allows for a free membership in the scholarship club which grants the recipients access to workshops and seminars without a charge.
Application Process and Required Documents:
Applicants are supposed to apply for the scholarship along with their MSc. application. They need to make sure that they are fulfilling the criteria set by the MSc. program of their choice. After that, they can fill out the scholarship form and upload it with the following documents.
- Two reference letters in PDF format. The reference letters must be from the candidate’s previous teachers (professor or assistant professor). If the candidate possesses work experience, one of the reference letters can be from his/her employer. The reference letters must be in English, Dutch, German or French languages.
- English language test scores. This is for students whose native language is not English and who have not been taught in English in their undergraduate studies.
These documents need to be submitted apart from the MSc. application documents.
#2 Holland Scholarship at TU Delft:
This scholarship is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science.
Number of Scholarships:
There are 5 to 6 scholarships available to students from all faculties.
Eligible Candidates:
Candidates must be from outside of European Economic Area. They must be applying to a two-year MSc program being taught at TU Delft. The bachelor’s degree must have been earned from outside of Holland.
Application Deadline:
The deadline for applying for this Holland Government scholarship is 1st February 2022.
Scholarship Value:
The Holland Government Scholarship gives 5000 EUR to the recipients for the first year of their study program. They can use this award to fund their living expenses.
Application Procedure:
The documents that need to be uploaded for this scholarship are the same as Justus & Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships. However, this scholarship doesn’t require a separate application form that needs to be submitted. Only the candidates who are fulfilling the application criteria of their desired MSc. program will be considered for this scholarship.
